I kid you not; I've actually heard people say this today.
Why on earth would anybody wish someone a "Happy Yom Kippur"?

Well although it's not an especially culturally sensitive remark I suppose that some people might be wishing happiness based on the fact that their sins have been confessed and forgiven through that great High Priest, Y'shua. Agreeing with God about our sin and then knowing that He has forgiven us and help us do the right thing is a happy thing. kidro
I've done that! I didn't mean to be insensitive, though. I was going more for Irony. If you think about it, not many of the holidays should be happied except for the December holidays, Easter and Thanksgiving. oh and 4th of July. maybe Arbor Day? all the rest are about dead people or tragedies. Presidents? dead. MLK? Dead. Columbus? dead. and perhaps greatly misunderstood. Labor Day? what is that? is there a C-Section Day? that's what I want to know. How 'bout just saying things like "Happy Tuesday!" or "Happy Good Hair Day!" all this and I haven't responded to your email yet... :o)
